If you are really looking the best way to diet,
I suggest doing what this mom did and combining the Acai diet with a cleansing program for the best result

Eat less than you burn, keep moving as much as you can. Give up all drinks but water. Give up eating bread and take up eating raw celery instead.
Go swimming once or twice a week,.. Try going for some easy strolls.

um, i actually learned about nutrition in one of my classes recently. do NOT follow the food pyramid in certain areas. those "food pyramids" and things like that are regulated by meat and dairy companies. so of course, they naturally bump up the amount of "dairy" and "meat" you really need, so they can make a profit. you do need protein though, but there is alot of ways to get it. if you are choosing to eat meat, chicken is a good choice, and so is fish. too much red meat is a bad thing for anyone. alot of people think that "meat" is the only great and excellent form of protein. but there are things that have even more protein than meat and is less fattening. legumes, such as soy beans, peas, lentils...almost anything (except vanilla and a few others) that comes in a pod when grown like those, have a high source of protein. not to mention, legumes also hold a nice amount of calcium and other minerals and vitamins, like most vegetables. your body takes more energy burning meat and dairy then anything else, so its best to eat less of those things, and eat more vegetables, which will result in more energy. dark green vegetables are the absolute best, including collard greens, which are insanely high in vitamins. for example, a cup of collard greens has 400% of your daily need of vitamin K, 50% of your need of vitamin A, 25% of your daily need of vitamin C, and 25% of your daily need of magnese, among ALOT of other vitamins. its a shame that companies really make you believe that you need to eat tons of meat and dairy. in all honesty, those two areas are not needed alot. you need more veggies. like the portion size of meat you have on your plate, eat like 2-3 times more veggies then the portion of meat. that means you need to eat nuts, legumes, fruits, veggies......theres tons of things to eat!!! and i didnt even get to mention fruit yet, which is also amazing for you!!!! i can emphasize enough about how much you need fruit and veggies :D and carbs are perfectly FINE. alot of people say to cut carbs, but that also helps give you energy. carbs are fine to eat, but in moderation, and it also depends of if that involves fiber or not, which is also important in your diet. (veggies also have fiber already too, so do fruits). there is so much to learn about health and diet, it really is a fun thing. my advice would be to start studying the contents of meat, dairy, veggies, fruits, grain...everything. and youll start to see on your own what stuff is most beneficial for you. and if you set your meals right, you will have loads of vitamins, and wont even need to take multi vitamins or anything of that sort. good luck!

also eating 5 to 6 times a day helped me when i lost weight. it keeps your metabolism up. just alot of little meals.

A combination of a healthy diet and exercise is the best solution for losing weight. Drinking a lot of water throughout the day also helps. Make sure you get plenty of sleep (~8 hours/night). In all reality, diet pills can only give you around a 5% boost when trying to lose weight. With that said, the most effective stimulant diet pill is probably SciVation's Dialene 4x with a combination of the non-stimulant fat burner Sesamin.

Here's a few tips that work for me:
I spend a long time in front of a computer screen. Often I just stare at the monitor for up to 15 seconds while a page load or a document gets printed or whatever it is that the computer is doing.
When this is happening I lift my hands up over my head and then bring them down. I keep on doing this until the computer has finished whatever it is doing and it requires some input.,. from me.
I do similar exercises like getting up from the chair and sitting down again. I sometimes might be standing up and might type a few sentences while standing.
Combine this with drinking only water and I am doing something to lose weight. It is not much but doing it all the time it does help in losing weight.
I might swap this sometimes. I might decide that I will not do the arm exercise for a week but that week I will get off the lift two floor below and walk up the last two floors.
So long as when I go to bed at night I can say that that day I have done something extra to burn some weight, I am happy.

The only ones that do that have other side effects, like death. Consult your doctor - most of those pills don't work at all.

Why is everyone bashing caffeine? At every day levels (a couple of cups of coffee), caffeine has primarily positive effects. Studies show caffeine at moderate levels increases both physical and mental capacity. Coffee is full of antioxidants. Most studies show that dehydration is minimal (and most runners are WAY overhydrated anyway). The only real negative is the need to *** frequently, and that stops after an hour or so - caffeine has a half life of 4 hours in your system, so its effects continue long after the bathroom trips stop.

The only effective diet pill that goes with what you're doing is time. You're planning to make the necessary changes, you just have to be patient and let them do what they're intended to do. There's no way to "speed up the process", and fast weight loss certainly isn't safe.

Ever notice how diet pills tend to have the fine print of "with diet and exercise" attached? The reason people lose weight on diet pills (besides the placebo effect) has nothing to do with the pills, if they're dieting and exercising they don't need the pills to lose weight. If a product were marketed that said "Practice knitting for one hour every day, and take this pill that has been extensively researched by people on our payroll, and within 6 months you'll be significantly better at knitting sweaters!", would you think that sounded like a ridiculous scam? Yet it's no different than diet pill marketing.

If you want to take a supplement to speed up your weight loss, how about green tea? It won't help any more than those pills, but at least there's no danger later on of negative side effects (read: ephedra).
